On the warm, golden rocks, harbor seals snoozed in the sun. Nearby, playful sea lions barked at the sparkling blue ocean.
Suddenly, a huge wave rolled in, carrying a trail of shiny silver bubbles and tiny, dancing fish.
Splash! The sea lions leaped into the cool water, and the seals wiggled down the rocks to join the fun.
Under the waves, sea lions soared like birds using their strong flippers. The seals zipped along like speedy little rockets.
Together, they weaved through the tall, green kelp forest, playing hide-and-seek among the gently swaying leaves.
Suddenly, a strong, swirling current swept through the water. It twisted the green kelp into a giant, messy tangle!
The brave sea lions swam to the top to block the rushing current. They used their big flippers to keep the water still.
With the current blocked, the nimble seals wiggled through narrow gaps in the kelp, gently nudging the trapped fish free.
The grateful fish swam in a sparkling, happy circle, and the swirling current finally faded into a gentle drift.
Tired but happy, the playful swimmers turned back toward the surface, chasing the last warm rays of sunshine.
They climbed back onto their favorite sunny rocks, shaking the cool ocean water from their sleek, shiny coats.
Snuggled close together, the seals and sea lions fell asleep, knowing that friendship made every ocean adventure better.
