Oliver the bright blue octopus woke up in his cozy coral home. He stretched his eight wiggly arms, ready for a special day.
Suddenly, a tiny hermit crab lost its shell, and a tangled sea turtle struggled nearby. Oliver swam over to help them both.
With his first arm, Oliver handed the crab a shiny new shell. His second arm gently untangled the grateful sea turtle.
Oliver used his third arm to tuck a shiny pearl back into the frightened clam. The little clam giggled happily.
With his fourth and fifth arms, Oliver lifted a heavy rock. A trapped orange starfish wiggled free with a happy cheer.
Next, Oliver used his sixth arm to gently fan a sleepy seahorse. The little seahorse drifted off into a peaceful nap.
Suddenly, a powerful current swept through the reef, shaking the tall coral towers and making the sea friends shiver.
Oliver stretched out his seventh arm, pointing a lost baby dolphin safely back toward its family.
With his eighth and final arm, Oliver held up a shaky coral tower, keeping a family of tiny clownfish safe from the current.
As the current calmed, Oliver looked around. Every single one of his eight arms was busy helping a different happy sea friend!
The grateful sea creatures gathered around Oliver, cheering and giving high-fives to all of his busy arms.
Oliver hugged himself happily. His eight arms were wonderful, but the love he shared was the greatest treasure in the sea.
