The story

Under a warm, golden sky, Noah’s grandchildren looked up at the towering wooden ark. A big adventure was about to begin!

Grandpa Noah gave each child a shiny whistle and a list of animals. Their big mission was to keep everyone safe and happy!

With a rustle in the grass, the first guests arrived. Two tall giraffes and a pair of colorful parrots stepped forward.

Two slow tortoises crawled very quietly. The children laid down a trail of sweet clover to guide them toward the giant ramp.

Two playful monkeys swung wildly on the wooden scaffolding. The children giggled and tempted them down with sweet, yellow bananas.

Two fluffy white sheep hesitated at the ramp. A soft, soothing lullaby helped them find their courage to walk inside.

Suddenly, the bright sky began to turn gray. Cool winds blew, warning the children that the big storm was finally on its way.

A loud rumble of thunder shook the ground! Two tiny field mice shivered with fear and scurried under a large leaf.

Working together, the children gently scooped up the tiny mice. They kept them warm and safe in their soft hands.

Two big, sleepy bears lumbered slowly up the ramp. The children guided them inside just as the very first raindrops began to fall.

With a deep creak, the great wooden doors of the ark swung shut, sealing everyone safely inside away from the cold rain.

Safe inside, the children snuggled close to their animal friends. Together, they knew that love and teamwork could weather any storm.
