The story

Under the warm Australian sun, a tiny joey peeks from his mother's cozy pouch. He dreams of hopping across the golden grasslands.

A gentle breeze rustles the acacia trees. The great kangaroo mob gathers, ready to travel to the cool watering hole far away.

With a gentle nudge, the tiny joey wiggles out of the warm pouch. His feet touch the soft, green grass for the very first time.

Wobble, wobble! The joey's long legs feel unsure. With a gentle thump of his mother's tail, he stands tall and prepares to try again.

Boing! The little joey takes his first tiny hop. He uses his long, heavy tail to stay balanced in the warm air.

With every bounce, the little joey gains confidence. He happily follows the mob, leaping over small rocks and dusty branches.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind sweeps the joey's favorite twig across a wide, sandy ditch. He stops and looks at the deep gap.

The little joey bends his strong back legs and takes a deep breath. He must leap farther than he ever has before!

With a mighty push, he leaps! The brave joey soars gracefully through the air, flying high over the wide, sandy ditch.

Thump! The joey lands safely on the other side. He grabs his favorite twig and beams with pride at his giant leap.

The little joey hops easily alongside his proud family. Ahead, the cool watering hole sparkles under the golden sunset.

Splashing in the cool water, the little joey realizes that with a big leap of faith, the whole beautiful outback is his to explore.
