The story

High up in a giant eucalyptus tree, Kiki the fluffy koala snuggles close to the bark as the morning sun warms her ears.

A gentle breeze carries the sweet, minty scent of fresh eucalyptus leaves. Kiki's tummy rumbles as she looks up at the high ridge.

With a deep breath, Kiki grips the rough bark with her strong claws and begins her slow, careful climb upward.

Suddenly, a bright, colorful parrot swoops past with a loud chirp! The branch wobbles, but Kiki holds on extra tight.

Taking a deep breath, Kiki smiles. She feels her strong claws holding the bark tight and knows she is ready to climb higher.

Step by step, she climbs higher into the rustling green leaves, finding new paths through the sturdy branches.

Finally, Kiki reaches the sunny treetop canopy. The entire forest spreads out below her like a soft green ocean.

Right above her, the most delicious, juicy green leaves shimmer in the bright sunlight, just waiting to be picked.

Just as Kiki reaches out, a sudden gust of wind shakes the branch! The delicious leaves dance just out of her reach.

Balancing carefully on her sturdy legs, Kiki stretches her fluffy arm as far as she can and snatches the sweet, green leaf.

Kiki happily munches on the sweet, juicy leaf. With a full tummy, she finds a cozy, safe branch to rest her tired paws.

Drifting off to sleep in her high, sunny branch, Kiki knows she can climb any tree. She is the happiest, sleepiest koala in the forest.
