The story

Deep in a sun-dappled pond, a tiny tadpole named Tadpole swam happily. He wiggled his tail among the soft green weeds.

Tadpole wore a bright yellow buttercup behind his ear. He loved to look up at the glowing water's surface, dreaming of the world above.

Tadpole chased shimmering bubbles and watched beetles dance. The pond was peaceful, but he felt a big change was coming.

One morning, Tadpole felt a strange, exciting tingle. Two tiny bumps sprouted near his tail, growing into little back legs!

While the deep pond buzzed with busy water snails, Tadpole practiced kicking. Wiggling through the weeds was starting to feel very different!

Other pond creatures went about their day. Tiny minnows darted through the deep water, unaware of the changes happening below.

Soon, two tiny front legs popped out! Now with four legs and a shrinking tail, Tadpole was a curious little froglet.

Strong currents swept through the pond. Swaying green stems made a tricky maze for any little swimmer learning to steer.

He paddled hard, steering around the swaying plants. His tail was almost gone, but his webbed feet worked perfectly!

Suddenly, a shadow loomed! A large, curious fish swam near, creating huge waves that shook the quiet pond.

A great splash broke the water's surface as something leaped high into the air, leaving the surprised fish far behind.

Sitting on a sunny lily pad, the happy green frog adjusted his yellow buttercup. He was ready to leap into his grand new adventure!
