About these stories

Where rain comes from and where puddles go. Why the sun does not really go out at night. Why every snowflake has six sides and no two are alike. What a shadow actually is. Four plain, true explanations for four- and five-year-olds, each the length of a bedtime story.

Two more are told as adventures: Journey of a Raindrop follows one drop from cloud to ocean to river and back, and The Sky Dancers imagines the Northern Lights as dancers painting the winter sky. Day and Night is the one for a child who does not like the dark.
