The story

Ren loved the quiet garden behind the house, where moss grew like soft carpets and stone lanterns stood like silent guardians.

Lately, a strange feeling lingered in the garden. Tiny, glowing paw prints appeared on the moss, leading toward the cherry blossoms.

One starry night, Ren followed a trail of shimmering blue light deep into the garden, straight to the hollow of the oldest tree.

Inside the hollow sat a small fox with three glowing tails. The magical creature shivered, looking up with worried, bright eyes.

The little spirit had lost its precious star-gem, and the garden was beginning to wither. Ren promised to help find it.

Together, they searched the shadows, lifting heavy stones and peering carefully under prickly brambles.

Ren gently held back the thorny branches to protect the little fox, then shared a sweet rice cake to keep its spirits up.

The missing star-gem glowed deep inside the dark garden pond. The little fox whimpered, too afraid of the cold water to dive in.

Taking a brave breath, Ren knelt by the slippery pond and carefully scooped up the glowing gem with a long, sturdy leaf.

Ren handed the glowing gem back to the little fox. Instantly, a warm, brilliant light washed over the entire garden.

The garden burst into a brilliant, magical bloom. The happy kitsune danced, leaving a trail of sparkling stardust behind.

Ren knew that even the smallest, unseen creatures deserved kindness. Every night, a sweet treat was left waiting by the old cherry tree.
