The story

Terry was a very big, very green T-Rex with a giant smile. He loved his quiet forest home and wanted to play.

But whenever Terry walked by, the little squirrels and rabbits would run away in fear. He just wanted to make friends.

One sunny afternoon, a tiny bluebird chirped sadly. Her favorite shiny pebble had fallen deep down into a dark, rocky crack.

Terry watched from behind a leafy bush. He wanted to help, but he worried his giant claws might scare the little bird away.

Taking a deep breath, Terry stepped out from the bushes very slowly. "Hello," he whispered as softly as a giant dinosaur could.

Terry knelt down carefully. He used his big tail to scoop up soft, colorful leaves, building a gentle ramp down into the deep crack.

The bluebird hopped down the leafy ramp and retrieved her shiny pebble. She chirped happily, looking up at the gentle giant.

Suddenly, a strong gust of wind shook the tall trees. The bluebird's nest slipped from its high branch and tumbled through the air!

Terry didn't hesitate. He stretched his long neck and caught the falling nest safely on his broad, green snout.

Terry lowered his snout slowly, placing the nest on the soft grass. The forest was quiet as the animals watched in wonder.

Then, happy cheers filled the forest! A brave little rabbit hopped right onto Terry's big toe, and the bluebird landed on his nose.

Terry smiled a giant smile. He realized that being big was perfect for keeping his tiny new forest friends safe and warm.
