Fire

Long ago, when the sun slipped away, the world grew cold and dark. Families huddled together in the shadows, shivering under the stars.

In the deep darkness, wild animals howled in the distance. Without any light, the families could only wait for the morning sun.

Then, a sudden storm rolled in. A bright flash of lightning struck a dry tree, and a brilliant, dancing light appeared!

They crept closer to the glowing branches. For the first time, a gentle warmth chased away the cold, and the dark shadows fled.

But the fire could not last forever. Soon, the bright embers faded into gray ash, and the cold darkness returned.

Determined to bring the warmth back, they gathered dry wood. They began to rub two sticks together, hoping for a spark.

Their hands grew tired and sore as they spun the sticks faster and faster. They tried different dry leaves, hoping for a sign of life.

Suddenly, a thin wisp of smoke curled up from the dry leaves. They leaned in close, holding their breath in hope.

They blew gently on the glowing ember. With a soft crackle, a bright orange spark bloomed into a steady, cheerful flame!

The friendly fire pushed the dark shadows away. Together, they cooked a warm meal and felt safe in the glowing light.

Around the dancing flames, they shared stories and laughed into the night. The warm hearth brought everyone closer together.
