Diplodocus: The Long-Necked Giant

Deep in the ferns, a young Diplodocus stretches his long neck toward the golden canopy. His whip-like tail swishes gently.

A sudden gust of wind shakes the tall trees. High on a cliffside branch, a nest of tiny pterosaurs chirps loudly for help.

Hearing their cries, the gentle giant decides to help. He carefully steps over huge fallen logs to reach the steep cliff.

Thick, thorny vines block the narrow trail. The giant uses his powerful, whip-like tail to sweep the path clear.

At last, he reaches the towering cliff. He looks up, realizing the tiny nest is perched incredibly high in the sky.

Planting his heavy feet, the giant stretches his neck higher and higher. He reaches up toward the clouds, balancing carefully.

Suddenly, a hungry predator emerges from the dense jungle shadows, eyeing the helpless little nest on the cliff.

With a quick flick, the giant cracks his long tail like a whip. The loud sound echoes through the valley, scaring the predator away.

With the predator gone, the giant gently nudges the trapped nest with his snout. The little babies chirp in happy relief.

The parent pterosaurs fly back to their safe nest, circling the giant's head in a joyful dance of thanks.

The gentle giant slowly lowers his long neck, feeling proud. He rests his massive tail in the soft, green grass.

Together with his new friends, the gentle giant shares a feast of sweet canopy leaves, happy to be just the way he is.
