Five-minute bedtime stories, gently narrated

Every evening DreamStories deals a fresh handful of stories — animals, space, the sea, history, the people and machines that came before us — and reads the one your child points at, aloud, in a calm voice. Each story takes about five minutes: long enough to settle into, short enough to end before sleep does.

How it works

A fresh handful every evening. Open DreamStories at bedtime and it deals a few stories chosen for your child's age — true stories and imagined ones, about animals, the earth, space, history and the people who shaped it. Tap one and it begins.

Read aloud, or read yourself. Every story is narrated in a calm, unhurried voice, with an illustration for each page. Turn the narration off and it is a picture book on the screen.

Something to talk about after. Each story ends with one gentle question — a way to say goodnight that is also a conversation. Stories are about five minutes long, for listeners from one to twelve, in thirteen languages.
